17-18 The Power of Perception Speaker Series: The Community Council of Metropolitan Atlanta
The Community Council of Metropolitan Atlanta will host two Entrepreneur workshops where
NSYEP will conduct business plan develop training (Nov 17) and students will present their
ideas to a panel (Nov 18).

Our annual Holiday Dinner featuring the presentation of the stage play "Education of a
Harvard Guy" with the Freedom Singers and the announcement of our 2011 Making of Men

11-19 Sevanada "Be The Change" Promotion Honors The National Black Men's Health Network
Be The Change, a program started by Sevananda Natural Foods Market in 1997, provides
capacity-building, promotion and financial contributions to locally-based nonprofit
organizations. Each calendar year, Sevananda works in partnership with twelve
organizations, assigning one for each month.
18 Let's Talk About It! -- Hot Topic Discussions & Meaningful Options Towards Resolution
Our new annual holiday fundraiser that features a live audience and a very entertaining
panel of "specialists" that aren't afraid to talk about the hot topics that's got our community
jumping. In the end, they will try to define options to help resolve problems or enhance
solutions that are affecting our families and communities.
25 Lyrical Concert Series "Go Tell The Story"
A festive musical event to jump start the Kwanzaa Holiday Celerbration featuring live
performances, storytelling, art displays, book club discussions, and a musical jam session.

Students will participate in a S.T.E.M.-based urban agricutlure gardening program that will
introduce inner city youth to business development, special event management,
investigative research and discovery and commuinty service via social entrepreneurism.
