NSYEP believes in the power of the extended family. ...our parents, grandparents,
aunts, uncles, grandmothers, grandfathers, cousins, and "friends of the family". With our
busy, hectic schedules, we know its nearly impossible for parents to attend every single
event that will benefit their kids. That's why most of our programs focus on a one mile
radius surrounding each student's training site. By doing so, we ensure that students
receive as much support as possible.
From our PotLuck Dinners to our Community Awareness Meetings and Community
Gardening activities, we try to create events that will allow families to spend as much
productive quality time together so that learning and growing is a family affair.
