Our Mission Statement Offering real-time instruction to build life and career skills through business plan development, special event management, investigative research and social entrepreneurship for youth and young adults in underserved and underrepresented communities.
Step 4. Join in the fun on Saturday or after school classes!
Each training session operates on a 12-14 week cycle. Depending on the capabilities of each team, our weekly sessions involve teaching students how to develop mission statements, conduct a market analysis (using the internet and personal experiences), and create marketing plans, budgets, and sales strategies for their event. A final document will be drafted into an executive summary or business plan to demonstrate their progress, ideas and experiences and will be presented to their host organization for further development. To create your own training group, download a training request form by clicking on the link. We will contact you and do the rest!
For participants that cannot attend the training sessions, we offer Saturday and after school refresher classes. Each week we will cover one of the ten sections required to develop a solid business plan and will teach students how to incorporate their ideas into a sound business strategy and/or special event. Visit our calendar of events to view our upcoming training schedule!
