All participants are required
to register prior to
participating in any NEXT
Steps Youth Entreprenuer
Program training activity or
event. Register as a Youth
I (17 & under) or II (18-24),
Mentor (18+ Only) or
Partner. Simply, click on

Annual membership fees are our
chief means of teaching young
entreprenuers how to be
self-sufficient. A percentage of their
annual fees pays for their T-shirts,
membership cards and certificates.
The remaining serves as seed
monies for the learning projects they
create and coordinate.

Each training session operates on a 12-14
week cycle. Depending on the capabilities
of each team, our weekly sessions involve
teaching students how to develop mission
statements, conduct a market analysis
(using the internet and personal
experiences), and create marketing plans,
budgets, and sales strategies for their
event. A final document will be drafted into
an executive summary or business plan to
demonstrate their progress, ideas and
experiences and will be presented to their
host organization for further development.

For participants that cannot attend the training sessions, we offer Saturday and
after school refresher classes. Each week we will cover one of the ten sections
required to develop a solid business plan and will teach students how to
incorporate their ideas into a sound business strategy and/or special event.
