OUR YOUTH MICROFINANCING PROGRAM
Social Entrepreneurship Meets Urban Agriculture
NSYEP is in the process of
developing a partnership with banks
and lending institutions that believe
in the powerful concept of social
entrepreneurism.  Thanks to the
internet, we are able to identify and
reach out to groups such as the
Mastercard Foundation and the Skoll
Foundation. By incorporating their
tenure of success with our young
leader's innovative ideas, we can
help them make a successful impact
in their home towns, communities
and personal lives.

In the spirit of social
entrepreneursim, we couple
volunteerism, community service,
education, teamwork and
camaraderie as echos of what makes
one person's efforts a lifetime of
giving and support in the eyes of
those that will benefit from the
courageous acts of leadership and
sincere call to action.
The teachings of NSYEP lie in
educating students about the ten key
matters of business a new or existing
company must always focus on.
Though easier to teach in a
classroom setting, we deem it
necessary to drive the message
home by transferring all classroom
instruction to real world, real time
events and happenings.

We are fortunate to have a work site
on an urban farm that allows us to tie
booming green industries with trend
setting technologies and
environmentally conscious activities
all into real life learning models that
thrust students into one of the
largest and most impactful industries
in the world . . . food production and
security.  Our initiatives target key
markets that will help students learn
to identify social situations that
require their ingenuity, innovative
ideas and sincere desires to create
change that benefit their lifelong
aspirations as well as the entire
community population.
