17 and were in the 9th-12th grades.  Students
will be attending Douglass, Therrell, Maynard
Jackson, Mays, and Tri-Cities High Schools in
the Fall 2010.

The students’ career aspirations included:
civil, chemical, mechanical and computer
engineering, nursing, forensic science and
professional sports.  The students kept written
journals and photographs of all of their
interactions and activities were take (see
NSYEP website) Three of the ten students
were motivated to begin or take over the
maintenance of their gardens at their own
homes.
