We want to make our guests feel as comfortable and welcomed
as possible by offering picnic and cafe seating.

Gardening Toolkits
We would like to provide gardening toolkits to each student
that participates in our Herb & Farm training programs.  Each
toolkit is estimated to cost between $25-100.

15-Passenger Transportation Vehicles
Students have the opportunity to visit and work with community
gardeners at over 25 sites throughout the Metro Atlanta area.
We wish to purchase two used 15 passenger vans to safety
transport students and guests to these sites.

Estimated number of vans: 2 @ $800-$3,500 ea
Sankofa Ashe Cultural Heritage Program & Lyrical
Concert Series Sponsors
Love the arts as much as we do?  We designed the Sankofa
Ashe Cultural Arts Heritage Program and the Lyrical
inspirational music concert series to provide a consistent
platform for celebrating a diverse range the arts while
students taking the NEXT Steps business management class
learn how to raise seed monies, coordinate special events,
and develop winning marketing and sales strategies.
Minimum seed for each Lyrical Concert & Sankofa Ashe
Production: $500
Estimated number of concerts annually: 4-6
Estimated number of Sankofa Ashe Productions: 8-10

S.T.E.M.-based Training Kits
Our CSI training program would like to use Thames & Kosmos
scientific training kits in alternative energy, environmental science,
technology and electronics, earth science, etc.

Estimated cost per science kit: 6 Kits @ $25-450 ea

Secured: 1 Soil Test Kit, 1 Worm-View Kit
Start Up Merchandise
We would like to jumpstart our merchandising campaign by
purchasing a bulk order of t-shirts, caps and  journals for our
next training program.  Estimated cost per kit: $15

Total # students FY2012: 150
Many students require assistance paying participation fees for some of the NEXT Steps Youth Entrepreneur
